I loved this video. I didn't know anything about Singer's life and it was interesting to hear how he came about inventing the machine. The advertisement was so surprising. I forgot how they used to use those strong selling voices, and to to think that $18.00 in fabric would completely decorate an entire room is pretty amazing.
Anyone involved in sewing should love this series of videos. I used to sew everything I wore but now I sort of circle my electronic machine.
