Sneak peek at a new quilt

This is a small part of my new 3D quilt.
The appliqued free-motion leaves are made from organza, commercial and hand-dyed fabrics.
Some leaves are embellished with beads:


I used techniques teached by Heidi Lund in the chapter "Dimensional and Embellished Applique" from
the Quilting Arts book.
