His digital picture is edited and translated into an appliqué pattern. The border shows the hills and woods were Zoran loves to go. Might it be they are also in his memories?

Zoran's Memories was a first time practice of my technique of digitally translating a picture with the help of graphic software, in a pattern suitable for fused appliqué. My tutorial was published March 2008 in the magazine "Quiltnews" nr. 95 of the Dutch Quiltersguild.
The appliqué version of Zoran is not an exact copy of the real Zoran; consider this being the "Art" part of his quilt:
