From Dip-A-Dee-Stitching |
This is my experiment with a "hand-look" quilting stitch made on the sewing machine.
Materials used: coloured thread in the bobbin, light monofilament thread through the needle.
The monofilament thread is a polyester one, not a nylon one. Nylon tends to get yellow and britle as it gets older.
I found an instruction on how to do this quilting stitch at the FAQ's of Bernina USA.

Very effective stitch. I haven't tried that one yet. Myfanwy was very interesting. I ordered some of her threads the other day so can't wait for them to arrive.

ReplyDeleteThe threads of Myfanwy looks yummy!
