Dip-A-Dee-Stitching 000

First I printed the text on a sheet of translucent vellum paper. With temporary adhesive I sticked the vellum on the fabric.
I free hand machine quilted  the words following the print on the vellum.

In the background you can see the hand-look quilting stitch made by machine (see previous posting). In this case I used a dark monofilament thread through the needle instead of a light one, because the fabric is dark, and for contrast a light coloured thread in the bobbin

Thank you for your visit to my Creative Every Day # 10 blog!

Summary of links:

  1. Nice one. I have been thinking about trying the vellum. It looks as though it works well.

  2. This is an interesting use of vellum. I like the texture you have created with this piece.

Thank you for visiting Loose Ends and leaving your much appreciated thought. I hope you have a wonderful creative day!
