Red Delicious 5: Fanfare

Between winter depression, spring fever and rearranging my sewing room, block 5 has been made:

I experimented with the pintuck foot 32 to place the light thread (Presencia Vinca no.3) in the two rowsbeside the silver thread. The grooves of the foot work as perfect guides!

It was much fun to do the silver swirls. I used Superiors RazzleDazzle in the bobbin and MonoPoly to thread a #11 embroidery needle.
The uppertension was set to zero to prevent breaking the thin MonoPoly.
