"From fabric to friendship" (part 1: the attic)

On September 24 the grand opening of the quilt exhibition: “From fabric to friendship" took place at the "Rijssen's Museum". The museum is situated in a small castle (click on the pictures for a bigger version):

The quilts are not only showed hanging on the wall in a specific room, but can also be admired at several other rooms. Some quilts, ready or still in progress as if left for a short break of the maker, are in the attic, surrounded by antique tools for washing, pressing, heating and sewing:
