Needle lace leaves

This week I managed to do some of the Lesson One exercises of the course "Machine Embellished Surfaces". This on-line course at the Quiltuniversity is given by Susan Brittingham.
One of the subjects of Lesson One is how to create delicate or dence needle lace.
A sheer fabric that is watersoluble stabilized can be free motion quilted.
