One world, one heart: wonderful gifts from Oregon, USA

On Tuesday Deborah from Devandet Designs surprised me with a beautiful and special handmade jewelry folder with my name on it:

Inside was her wonderful One World, One Heart giveaway, a necklace and earring set:

"The pendant is a soldered glass microscope slide with layered transparency images from ARTchix Studio. It is on a long tan silky cord and has a found plastic bead dangle. I am thrilled to be the lucky new owner of her beautiful giveaway. Years ago I worked with (electron) microscopes and microscopic slides. It never came to my mind to use a microscopic slide as a piece of jewelry and to combine it with such pretty earrings.
