Today is the first day of my Art Every Day Month 2010.
Last year I truly enjoyed the challenge to produce something creative every day during 30 days.
In 2009 I joined for the first time this blogger's event organized by Leah Piken Kolidas.
If you are looking for a way to celebrate your creativity all month long, don't hesitate and join this year's party too!
This month I am reading Lyric Kinard's book "Art + Quilt" and I love to combine being creative every day with some of the exercises from the book. My experiments with felting can also be a subject of the day.
But for today I like to show part of my homework from current lessons from "the Artist's Toolbox" at Quilt University:
From Sketches |
Subject: texture
Materials: a chalk washed background paper, HB pencil, black PITT artist pens, pictures of things with texture.
Thank you for your visit!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great start to AEDM!
ReplyDeleteLove your texture page.
Great textures! I like how you did the letter "t"!
ReplyDeleteTextures indeed! So lovely, and together they make a beautiful collage!
ReplyDeleteAEDM is already proving fun & a great way to be introduced to inspiring people.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you've used a mix of media on this. I try doing this but so far I haven't managed to blend them as well as you do.
Thanks for visiting my blog yesterday. Good to 'meet' you!
